Scammer left an automated voice call on my answerphone for a "payment verification" from "Fraud Prevention Team", asking me to press 1 if I didn't request a payment of £780. No mention of a bank name. Obviously fake, as no bank has the number they called me on.

SCAM BANK CALL. Usual bottom feeders leaving a message (automated voice) on my voicemail, alerting me to false claim of 2 unauthorised transactions on a bank card. Naturally, the call did not address me by name nor was the name of the bank name once. Naturally, a scam call to get you to ring back. Which is what they want as they will not doubt ask you security questions to see how far they can get if you are in a panic. The bank don't make such calls. I'll be reporting this number to "Report Fraud" website (formerly known as Action Fraud) now and I advise you to do the same for any SCAMMER call. The website is recommended by Which! Claims to be Microsoft and have been trying to contact me for 3months. They try to get me to download anydesk.com to access my computer. I got to looking at this and thought 'why?'. If it is Microsoft they don't need to download an app to access my comuter. Goodbye, phone rang again 5 times. Didn't answer.
