They left a message saying "they'll remove me from the database, goodbye". Hope they do!
This is just one of several numbers that called me within 10 minutes, and I have blocked all of them.
Claimed to be 'bank security' calling, saying that two unusual payments had been made from my card, but it was an obvious scam.
I am getting a spate of numbers calling me that start with 074419, so much so that I had to look for an app that blocks prefixes.
Calling about car lease claims
Caller started talking of missold car finance. I hung up as I've never had finance for a car!
