The caller pretended I was going to get money back after an accounting error from a Domestic Appliances contract was accepted as such (Calls from similar companies have been coming quite oftren over many years). He clearly had a number of valid details but a very ancient disused real email address and although he had enough of my bank details from the supposed original direct debit, he insisted to check my plastic card details for these same details, then the expiry date, then - kind of matter-of-fact - my 3 digit security number - which is totally inacceptable! I told him so and switched the call off.
